ignored actual symptoms and misdiagnosed me when the ruptured appendix I had could have killed me
I got a bad ear infection and they only have 1 room open REALY WHATS WRONG WITH THEM IVE BEEN HERE FOR 4 HOURS
Horrible! Over FOUR hours with a child, barely were seen at all, and there were only 2 other people in the ER. Many walked out before getting seen. If I had not known a nurse there, we'd still be waiting! Unprofessional, terrible place.
I learned an important lesson. READ the discharge papers before signing. I got home and started reading things that supposedly were asked of me in triage. Nope. Seriously says I "denied using drugs" " denied being in an abusive relationship now or ever". I mean come on! I went in for an x-ray!
Brought my 3 year old in with possible head injury. Triaged him then sent us to the lobby where we wasted almost an hour before a nurse came to tell us their CT machine was down. Don't understand why it took so long to clue us in on that? Then we were told we needed to drive to another ER. So much time wasted. I've heard multiple reports of this. Maybe they need to invest in new equipment?
